Power requirements

The LEDs are designed to operate from a 3V DC power supply without the supplied resistors.

For use with a 12V power supply or model railway layout, fit the supplied resistors to reduce the voltage and protect the LEDs.

Do not connect the LEDs directly to 12V without the appropriate resistor, as this can permanently damage them.
